Ownlo Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ownlo, including the website at ownlo.app, the Ownlo app inside Pi Browser and the Ownlo Android app (together, the "Service"). Ownlo is operated by an independent developer ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ownlo. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian, and some features, including payments and messages from strangers, are restricted. You must also comply with the Pi Network terms that apply to your Pi account.

2. Relationship with Pi Network

Ownlo is an independent app built on the Pi Network platform. It is not operated or endorsed by the Pi Core Team. Sign-in with Pi, Pi payments and Pi wallets are provided by Pi Network and are subject to Pi Network's own terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login methods secure. Do not share your Pi passphrase with anyone. We will never ask for it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the videos, images, comments, messages and other content you post. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, display and distribute it, solely to operate, promote and improve the Service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to post your content.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• post illegal content, or content that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
• post pornography, graphic violence, hate speech, harassment, threats or content that promotes self-harm;
• infringe other people's copyrights, trademarks, privacy or other rights;
• engage in fraud, scams, phishing or impersonation, or ask other users for their passphrases or private keys;
• send spam or manipulate views, likes, followers, rankings or rewards, including with bots or multiple accounts;
• interfere with, attack, reverse engineer or overload the Service, or access it by automated means without permission.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law, or that put other users at risk.

6. Pi payments, tips and gifts

• Payments in Ownlo are made in Pi through the Pi Network payment system. Once confirmed on the Pi blockchain, payments generally cannot be reversed.
• Tips and gifts are voluntary support for creators. They are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we decide otherwise for a failed or erroneous transaction.
• Any virtual items or coins in the app have no cash value outside the Service, except where the app explicitly offers a conversion.
• Creator earnings and payouts are subject to the rules shown in the app, and may be withheld for fraud, abuse or violations of these Terms.
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your payments or earnings.

7. Live streaming and messaging

Live streams and chats are subject to these Terms. Do not record or share other users' private communications without their consent. Live content may be reviewed when it is reported.

8. Reports and copyright

You can report content or users through the report feature in the app. If you believe content on Ownlo infringes your copyright, report it with enough detail for us to identify the work and the content concerned, and we will review and act on valid notices.

9. Changes to the Service

The Service may change, and features may be added, modified or discontinued. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page, and your continued use of the Service after the changes means you accept them.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for Pi Network's platform, the Pi blockchain, or content posted by users.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or digital assets, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using Ownlo at any time and may ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
